Patch Notes for Season 2: Task Force 141


Season 2 brings new contents including:

New Map: Hardhat, from Modern Warfare, is officially launching in CODM! Utilize the complexity of the new map to make game changing plays.

New Weapons: Introducing the fully automatic shotgun - JAK-12.

MULTIPLAYER

New Map - Hardhat

Hardhat, the classic map of the Modern Warfare series will now be available on mobile! This is a small map featuring plenty of choke points and close-quarters combat. Navigate the unfinished buildings, watch for enemies in those pipes, and whatever you do, keep moving; if you don’t hunt them, they’ll hunt you. Don’t lose your focus while fighting through the concrete jungle.

Standoff

Fixed the abnormality experienced when jumping over the fence on the second floor of the bakery in Standoff.


New Scorestreak

Chopper Gunner

Decimate your enemies from above with the latest scorestreak! Chopper Gunner gives you manual control of a powerful gunner seat aboard a combat ready helicopter. This new scorestreak will be available via the Season 2 Battle Pass.


New Weapon - JAK-12

The JAK-12 is a fully automatic shotgun capable of providing melee suppression for a short period of time. This extremely fast firing shotgun is capable of high damage bursts that will down any enemy unlucky enough to be caught in your path, however you’ll have to contend with high recoil and need to be at close range to take full advantage of its unique firepower.


New attachment - Thunder Sling

Added signature attachment for HBRA3, providing stability and ADS speed bonuses.


BALANCE ADJUSTMENT

Multiplayer

AK47

AK47 has always been one of the slow-firing rifles. However, using AK47 to eliminate enemies within three shots has been hard to achieve in comparison to ASM10 and Man-O-War. Players suffer a higher penalty when shots are missed, leaving them

unsatisfied with AK47's performance in MP mode.

Therefore, we have made an adjustment by increasing the damage of shots hit in the chest and upper arm area. This adjustment will increase the margin of error in the first range segment when players are looking to eliminate opponents within three shots. The adjustment should also strengthen lethal shots on injured opponents in medium and long combat distance.

Since AK47 5.45 Caliber Ammo has a shorter firing range in comparison with other mainstream rifles, we have slightly increased the firing range and the capacity of 5.45 Caliber Ammo.

AK47 also shows a low cost efficiency with accessories due to its strong recoil. We have decreased the recoil of the rifle.

HBRA3

Hitting an accurate shot with HBRA3 did not provide our players a sense of thrilling reward. Therefore, we have increased the damage of headshots and hitting the abdomen area in the second range segment to allow the possibility of eliminating an opponent with four shots. In addition, the range of firearms is slightly increased to adapt to the current mainstream rifle range.

Reduce sprint-to-fire lag, improved the control handling of horizontal and vertical recoil


Kilo141

Reduced the range of basic recoil changes so that it can play its due TTK advantage at medium and long distances.


Peacekeeper MKII

The horizontal recoil of Peacekeeper MKII has been difficult to control. It has not been suitable for medium-distance combat even when it is equipped with stabilizers.


Base:

Improved the horizontal recoil animation to achieve a smoother handling.

AKS74U

AKS74U is an overall comprehensive weapon. It has good mobility, endurance, and stability. However, its prolonged TTK range puts it in a disadvantage during close combat. Therefore, we have lengthened its shooting range in the first segment to better help with its close-range combat ability.

AK117

Players are restricted to position in corners or behind doors while using AK117 due to its short firing range. Therefore, we have increased its shooting range in the first segment to allow more combat scenarios.

Type25

Type25 has revitalized the use of close-range rifles and exceeded expectations since the buff from 13.0. However, its smooth trajectory and fast reload time has created a dominance in long-distance combat, making it supreme in all combat ranges.

Therefore, we increased its hit flinch, slightly increased its bullet spread and reload time, and adjusted the negative effects of the 42/46 magazine.

AMR

With particular ammunition, this heavy-duty sniper rifle can perform a single lethal shot.

Based on our observation, preventing these particular ammunition from penetrating walls has effectively balanced out the strength of AMR. We have slightly increased the range of the firearm to enhance its strength in MP mode.

NA45

The short lock time of NA45 leaves little room for opponents to react. It requires opponents to counterplay by acquiring protective gears. Therefore, we’ve slightly increased the duration of NA45’s lock time in order to give opponents more time to react in combat.
